The Malaysian national soccer team aims to score 3-0 against Indonesia in the first match of the final round of the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2010, which will be held at the Bukit Jalil national stadium in Kuala Lumpur on Dec. 26.

“I predict that we will win 3-0 here,” the vice chairman of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

He added that a 3-0 score would increase the chances of a Malaysian victory in the second match of the final round, which will be held at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Dec.29.

He further said that the Malaysian team was in high spirits and that a win would “be a turning point in the rise of and quality of soccer in this country”.
