Tehran Without Permission wins three awards in Jogya Film Festival

Iranian movie Tehran Without Permission won three awards at the 2010 Jogya-Netpac Asian Film Festival (JAFF), even though its production used only a pocket film camera.

The movie won the Netpac Award for its inspiring story, the Geber Award for best community film and Special Mention for producing a great movie with limited instruments, JAFF spokesperson Gundhi Anindtya said Sunday, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

Other films that won JAFF awards include Survival Song from China and Minggu Pagi di Victoria Park from Indonesia.

Among the judges were Seno Gumira Ajidarma, Ine Febriyanti, and Landung Simaputang.
