The former chairman of the People Consultative Assembly, Amien Rais said Sunday he was disappointed with the performance of the Corruption Eradication Commision (KPK).

“KPK looks to have a pattern now. When it is requested to solve Bank Century scandal, former Bank Indonesia senior deputy governor Miranda Goeltom, graft case of Gayus Tambunan, it always says there is not enough evidence,” he said Sunday as quoted by tribunnews.com.

He said there should be reelection for all KPK leader positions, except for the newly elected KPK chairman, Busyro Muqoddas.

“KPK image is declining. There is no public trust to KPK now,” he said.
